2. Request for Proposal: AfricaSan Ngor Commitment Monitoring Process and Knowledge Management Consultancy

The consultant will develop knowledge and learning materials, specifically: case studies, and technical analysis on the country process. The consultant will identify and develop products highlighting innovations, best practices, lessons put in place to achieve the recorded results, and the impact and challenges experienced in the process of implementation across the Member States.

3. Request for Proposal: Event Manager for the 8th Africa Water Week in Windhoek, Namibia 2021

The objective of this Request for Proposal is to identify a plan that will provide the best overall value to the 8th AWW Conference. While price is a significant factor, more so now than in the past, other criteria will form the basis of the final decision. The RFP will require high level professional Firm to serve as Events Manager. The Events Manager is to provide local consultancy and logistic support to AMCOW and the Local Organising Committee in the provision of a list of goals.

5. Request for Proposal: Conference Coordinator for the 8th Africa Water Week in Windhoek, Namibia - 2021

The 8th Africa Water Week (AWW-8) is planned to hold from February 8 – 12, 2021 under the auspices of the African Ministers’ Council on Water (AMCOW) in conjunction with the Department of Rural Economy and Agriculture of the African Union Commission, and supported by several partners. The conference will be hosted by the Government of the Republic of Namibia, represented by the Country’s Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry.

The AWW8 will be convened under very strange circumstances that the continent has never experienced. From the beginning of the year 2020, the world including Africa was hit by a public health emergency. The outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) across Africa and all over the world introduced a new dynamic in the challenges faced by the sector.

6. Request for Proposal: Recruitment of Motion Designer of the Ngor Vision on Sanitation and Hygiene

The Motion Designer would also have the following responsibilities:

Produce quality visibility materials for AMCOW.

Ensure that all visuals are produced in line with AMCOW requirements/policies.

Produce 1 animation film about the Ngor Commitments and its importance to reach SDG 6. The duration could be between 1mn 30s to 2 mns.

Produce 1 animation film about AMCOW and its work. The duration could be between 1mn to 1mn 10s.

Production of 2 animation videos to create awareness and highlight the importance of the Ngor Commitments and AMCOW.

The animation videos will target Water, Sanitation & Hygiene practitioners, Governments, donors, CSOs, Universities, among others.

7. Request for Proposal: The Snapshot Of The Ngor Vision On Sanitation And Hygiene

The purpose of the RFP is the production of an English summary version of the Ngor Vision on Sanitation and Hygiene to inform about the vision and its importance to reach SDG6.

The tasks and responsibilities include:

Produce quality visibility material for AMCOW

Review the Ngor documents and develop a snapshot of the Ngor Vision on Sanitation and Hygiene of 8 pages including cover section and outer cover.

Editing and proofing of the snapshot.

Provide a final Word and PDF versions to AMCOW for print and web.

Ensure that the snapshot is produced in line with AMCOW requirements/policies.

Provide recommendations to AMCOW on ways of improving the design of the snapshot including suggestions of photographs, data tables for infographics, diagrams and drawings and other necessary visuals.

Optional work: project management of designer, project management of printer

AMCOW will provide content in Microsoft Word or PDF format. Other specifications may be given to the selected consultant if necessary.

 

AMCOW will request up to 6 rounds of revisions for the document.

8. Request for Proposal: Recruitment of Graphic Designer of the Ngor Commitments

The purpose of the RFP is the production of original / high quality visuals to disseminate information about the Ngor Commitments. The materials will follow AMCOW branding and graphic guidelines and will be used for social media platforms, web content and other communication products.

The tasks and responsibilities include:

Produce quality visibility materials for AMCOW.

Ensure that all visuals are produced in line with AMCOW requirements/policies.

Produce 20 graphics in English and French aligned with the Ngor Commitments.

Produce 1 GIF in English and French aligned with the Ngor Commitments.

The visuals will be in full colour, High Definition, and digital format.

Files may be submitted in JPG, JPEG, PNG, and PDF. Final source format PNG and other Source Format must be submitted to AMCOW;

The visuals should be fresh, attractive, utilising a range of graphics to effectively communicate to various target audiences in a clear way.

AMCOW will provide content in Microsoft Word format. Other specifications may be given to the selected designer if necessary.

9. Request for Proposal: Media Services for the Ngor Commitments

The purpose of the Media Services is to support media awareness about the Ngor commitments and its importance in attaining the SDG 6 goal and its targets

The tasks and responsibilities include:

Secure an interview for the Executive Secretary of AMCOW in a major International or Pan African newspaper to inform about the Ngor commitments and its importance to the realization of SDG 6.

Support a press release distribution on the Ngor Commitments in at least 25 African countries from the 5 regions of Africa (North, East, South, West, Central) in major print, broadcast and online publications.

Follow-up calls to ensure media uptake

Monitor online and print media outlets to report on the uptake
